Submission Guidelines
Every listing submitted to Townsfolk is reviewed to ensure quality and accuracy. Here is what we look for.
What makes a great listing
- ✓Valid, verifiable business address
- ✓Clear, well-lit photos showing the business
- ✓Accurate, helpful description of what visitors will see
Common reasons for rejection
Listings may be rejected for reasons including, but not limited to:
- ✗Not a real or verifiable address
- ✗Photos are blurry or don't show the business
- ✗Duplicate of an existing listing
- ✗Address is not a valid business location
- ✗Inappropriate or offensive content
- ✗Insufficient or irrelevant description
The review process
- 1.You submit your listing — it enters a pending state
- 2.Every submission is reviewed for quality and accuracy
- 3.You'll be notified when your listing is approved or if changes are needed
- 4.You can submit a new listing at any time
Submitting harmful, offensive, or fraudulent listings may result in your account being banned.
If your listing was rejected, check the reason and try again with improvements.
